General Herkimer Elementary School students gathered in the gymnasium for an assembly to kick-off the new school year. It also served as an introduction for Principal James Daino, who is in his first year at General Herkimer.
Principal Daino presented educational and behavioral expectations for K–3 students, highlighting new school-wide incentives designed to recognize acts of kindness and reward students for successfully meeting expectations both inside and outside the classroom.
