On Oct. 22, General Herkimer Elementary students gathered for an October PBIS assembly celebrating positive behavior and school-wide expectations. Principal Daino reviewed the importance of kindness, respect and responsibility for students in kindergarten through third grade. The assembly also highlighted school-wide incentives that recognize acts of kindness and reward students for making positive choices both inside and outside the classroom.
